I posted a problem about my 2015 chevy Impala Ltz theft deterrent, that kept coming on. Well i put the key in the door lock, and turned it to the left and held it there for 30 sec. Reset the theft deterrent system. 6T70 Transmission Issues: And POSSIBLE FIX So, I have a 2014 LT 3.6 with the 6T70 6-speed auto. I have read MANY discussions of troubles with this transmission. My Dealer (Deien Chevy in Trenton, IL) went to bat for me TWICE with GM after I had some symptoms, see below. I purchased the car... I have a 2014 Impala 2LTZ, purchased new. Previously owned 2008, 2011, and 2012 Impala LTZ models - also purchased new.
One common problem is the rubber accordion connector, between the air box and throttle body, tends to split at the folds - examine closely. Easy to replace. The front door check-straps tend to break or wear out quickly.
