I happen to own both - DXO lab3 didn't recognize D6 raw files so purchased DeNoise while I waited for DXO lab 4 to come out. These were shot this morning. Conditions were dark and gloomy, so I purposely shot the image to get... DxO has been pretty good at noise reduction, as I have mentioned in the past. I got some pretty amazing shots last winter in indoor gyms using it. However, they are now promoting a "new, improved" NR systems specifically designed for high iso RAW files.
I recently took some "macro" shots... I have been using the Google Nik forever. I installed the trial version of DXO on my MacBook Pro. I'm not interested in paying for no particular difference I can see.
