huawei laptop - Generation Z Gadgets
Hey! I've been looking for a new laptop for awhile and I was wondering if anyone has experiences with Huawei laptops? Are they any good?
Understanding the Context
I gotta say, I've only had good experiences with Huawei phones. For comparison sake, I do have a 7800x3d + 4090 desktop and Huawei 4900H laptop and on both instances, with vastly different specs, Win11 is incredibly smooth, there's never a lack of fluidity etc. With this MBP / Sonoma I'm a bit dumbfounded as Apple has always been the "king" of visual language, fluidity etc. I have an M3 Max 16-in MacBook Pro which I regularly connect to a 28-in Huawei MateView display.

This afternoon, during a regular working session, the external display turned black (no image). Moving the pointer up beyond the menu bar worked fine — the pointer disappearing beyond the built-in... Why is it so hard to find a Windows laptop that has the metal build quality of a MacBook. All I want is solid cold hard metal. I don’t even care about the specs except for battery life and a high def screen.

All the windows laptops in the stores are plastic or made of very thin metal that... Why is there no Windows laptop made of proper metal like the MacBooks ... My keyboard is an Apple wireless Bluetooth model, and the mouse is some cheap RF wireless one that is plugged into the hub. That said, I’m Mac-leaning BECAUSE of the unreliability of my PCs, which eventually led me to Mac. First PC laptop motherboard catastrophically failed after 2 years.
Second was a netbook, and, well it didn’t take long before that couldn’t run basic programs sufficiently. So I bought a desktop to use for more intensive tasks. This was good! The LG Display remembers the brightness from your Mac so you can control it from there by disconnecting the Windows laptop and connecting it to your Mac if like me you cannot install the app on your work computer.
