My wife has an iPhone 17 pro max, and it charges in her car. I have an iphone 16 pro max, and it charges in both our cars (2022 Tesla model Y, and 2025 Tesla model 3, both performance models). I use exclusively apple cases, since I have had all sorts of issues with aftermarket cases from amazon that say they are magsafe, but dont work reliably.
