I did some pricing and research and seeking advice on the best deals for used Tesla There's only 2 things I'm interested in it: the safety and self-driving tech, and warranty issues. Tesla’s “buy extra miles in the app” feature only works if your lease is through Tesla Lease Trust, not a third-party bank like Chase. Your option is to pay the 25 cents per mile over at the end of the lease, buy the car outright (if possible with your lease) at the end of the lease, or buy the lease outright if you think you’re going to be way over the miles.
