Does anyone have any info on the differences and relative speeds of the various Nikon autofocus systems. I have a N70 - CAM 274. I was looking at the N80 and D70 - CAM 900 and F100 Cam 1300 (also in F5).

Understanding the Context

I noticed some of the newer cameras have a CAM 2000 system. You can mount ANY Nikon SLR lens on a Nikkormat camera, and take pictures with it. The Nikkormat FT, FTN, FT2, and EL use the "prong" to communicate the aperture setting of the lens to the camera, for use in metering. Modern AF lenses, and older Series E lenses don't have prongs, so they won't couple to the Nikkormat's meter.
